Look! A Bowl of Beaded Beauties!

Look how beautiful they are!!  I'm so proud of these little gems and very thankful to John (my hubby) for using his fly tying skills and steady hand to put these together.  It was a true team effort as I laid out the patterns and he assembled them! We all know how important stitch markers are, and we use some form of them on nearly every project.  What a delight to be able to use something pretty while you create something pretty!  I can't take credit for for the idea though.  My knitting pal Libby was sporting some sweet markers on her latest project, and I thought, "Hey! we can make those" and so we did!  Now I believe a new obsession has been born (oh no!).  Have you ever been to a bead store?  They are so fun and there's so much to choose from.  I also found that our local Wally World has quite a large selection (who knew?).  It's easy to get carried away though, so I'm going to do my best to limit my new purchases!  The other thing that I'm really looking forward to is sharing them with my knit and crochet friends the Knit Wits who meet weekly at our library.  I'm sure they're going to love them as much as I do!
