Chevron Lace Cardigan aka CL Cardi - In the Beginning

In the beginning there was a Foundation Single Crochet and it was good!

                             PROJECT DETAILS:
The PATTERN is the Chevron Lace Cardigan by Milobo and can be found on Ravelry.
The YARN is Naturally Caron. com SPA in Soft Sunshine. A DK weight made of 25% bamboo and 75% acrylic.
I'm using an "I" / 5.50 mm HOOK.

 So I began this project last week after being completely heart broken by the Turnberry Cardigan, but that's another story!  This little gem has been a delight from the get go.  As of this evening I have completed 14 rows.  I'm thinking 2 or 3 more and I'll be ready to mark for the arms.  I did a row count 2 rows ago and I'm on target with 200 stitches per row (hooray!). Things are moving along well and I couldn't be happier.
    The yarn not only feels fantastic, but it looks beautiful. A bit of a shimmer almost when the sun catches it just right. I didn't know exactly what the "drape" was when I was just starting out.  The way that this fabric floats over your shoulders really defines a nice "drape"!
    So there you have it.  Happy days are here again.  I can't wait to do the split for the sleeves! Yippee!
