Making Art for Fun

Trying New Things

I have been trying lots of new things lately (sewing, drawing, watercolors etc.), and having a grand time. My desire and ability to create is in high gear! Plus I have all of these great ideas for blog posts. I want to talk about social media and how it impacts the way that we think about ourselves. I want to talk about encouraging you (and me) to try new things and have fun while doing it. I want to talk about how important it is to find activities that you enjoy and to pursue them. I want to talk about giving yourself permission to do things that make you happy. For some reason the words are stuck. I think these are interesting topics and relevant to the crafting world. We're just not going to be talking about them today!

Instead let me tell you about these watercolors and sketches!

I found some inspiration on Pinterest and decided to see what would happen if I made my own "paint blob" animals. The birds came easily after all the practice I have had working on the Nirvana Design logo. The others took a few rounds to get ears and such in the right place.

There is something irrationally cute about these small farm animals. I am taken with the piggies (even the word echos cuteness) and for the past two nights I have been sketching them in various poses. Mostly trying to capture a pig in flight.

Right up there on the adorable scale don't you think? My water color technique is rough, but I am going to try adding color to the two on the left tomorrow. Regardless of how it turns out I am reveling in the joy of putting brush to paper and watching to changes that occur.

Why not take a chance and try something new today?! I bet you'll be surprised!

Thanks for stopping by friends.
Until next time, wishing you creativity and joy!

This is so cute, creative, and inspiring. I crochet, love color, and I have watercolors I've never used before. You've given me alot of ideas. I usually just picture a project in my head, now I think I'll draw color it in with paint to get a better idea of what it will look like. :)

I am having such a great time with the watercolors. I have always been a doodler and this just adds to it! Once I stopped worrying about messing up I started to really enjoy myself. Just have fun, no matter what your finished projects look like!

Isn't it incredible how much release can be found in art? I am at a point where I have made the decision to make my art a focus. Watercolor, gouache, acrylic, crochet, knitting, and writing. It is helping me through some rough times, and allowing me to express feelings/thoughts that have been bottled up for years. It also soothes my soul. What more could I ask for?! Exploration is amazing.

I really LOVE your piggies, especially the one sitting with closed eyes and curly lashes. The flying pigs theme is one of my favorite themes of all time. When I was running for counsel I had my picture taken with a plushy flying piglet (because we were running against odds) and low and behold, we won !
Your works inspire me !
Thanks for sharing.
Greetings from The Netherlands,
Ayesha

Hello, I want to share my testimony with all of you. I have daily 9 to 5 jobs but while I work, I try my luck at playing instant Lotto. On this particular day, I decided to seek help online regarding tips for winning the lottery and I saw many individuals testifying about Meduza spells. I reached out to him and informed him that I needed help to win the lottery and he clarified the process to me stating that after he casts the spell, it will take 48 hours for him to provide me the winning numbers which I accepted. I followed all his instructions and he provided me with the numbers to enter the Lottery. After the draw the following morning I received a notification on the Lottery app on my phone indicating that I was the lucky winner of $273 million on the New Jersey Lottery and I'm here to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Meduza. DR UYI has done it for me, His predictions are 100% correct, He is real and can perform miracles with his spell. I am overwhelmed because I just won 336,000, 000 million Euro from a lottery jackpot game with the lottery number DR UYI gave me. I contacted DR UYI for help to win a lottery via Facebook Page DR UYI, he told me that a spell was required to be casted so that he can predict my winning, I provided his requirements for casting the spell and after casting the spell he gave the lottery numbers, I played and won 336,000,00 euros. How can I thank this man enough? His spell is real and like a God on Earth. Thank you for changing my life with your lottery winning numbers. Do you need help to win a lottery too? contact Dr UYI via [email protected] OR WhatsApp on +17174154115

Being the winner of a multi-million-dollar lottery certainly is a life-changing event for almost every single lottery winner. My name is Mavis Wanczyk from Chicopee, Massachusetts and I want to use this medium to tell you how I became the famous Powerball lottery winner of $758 million (£591m). I know many people would wonder how I had won the lottery. Would you believe me if I told you that I did it with spell casting? I met this famous spell caster known as Doctor Odunga and he was the one who did it for me. As shocking as it was to me, my famous comment to the press was “ I’m going to go and hide in my bed.” Never did I believe that Dr. Odunga would make me wealthy overnight. If you want to have your chance of winning and becoming very wealthy just like me, contact Chief Dr. Odunga at Email: [email protected] and WHATS-APP HIM at +2348167159012 and you will be lucky. Thanks for reading and hope to see you at the top
